Familiarization
stage is focused on the development of
the first applications prototype and results
in the establishment of project objectives, scope,
resource plans, and training requirements. During
this stage, eVerge Group develops an understanding
of client's business processes and desired goals.
Scorecards are developed to measure the success
of the project team, the new application, and
the client's business. |

The System
Evolution stage of the project is focused
on the analysis of the business processes as well
as the development of data and functional requirements.
This includes requirements that are currently deployed
in previous software and requirements that will
be addressed in the new or upgraded software functionality.
A “Fit Analysis” compares each requirement
to the specific capabilities of the “out-of-the-box” application. |

During
the System Integration stage,
the application is developed, incorporating all newly
identified requirements as well as all previously
available functionality. Design and development of
system interfaces also takes place during this phase.
To insure user involvement and acceptance, an iterative
prototyping method is employed. The System Integration
stage results in a functioning application. |

During
the System Preparation stage,
the entire ecosystem — application, users,
administrators, and integrated IT systems — is
tested and verified for system readiness. Final
system, integration, security, and performance
testing is conducted utilizing previously formulated
test scripts. During System Preparation, all end-users
receive methodical role-based training and final
preparations for deployment to Production are made. |

The System
Implementation stage is accomplished by
rolling out the application in phases to a set
number of users. To ensure optimal system performance
and user satisfaction, system monitoring and
user support takes place after the deployment.
At the end of the monitoring period, a review
is done of the project utilizing the scorecards
developed in the Familiarization stage. The final
step in the implementation is for the key project
sponsor(s) to sign-off on the project. |
